------------------------------------------------------- About this work This work was first shown in Cape Town at the opening of South Gallery in 2008, at an exhibition called Heaven. It was then part of Morphology, my solo exhibition in 2009. In this painting I take the traditional idea of a still life with fruit and play against our modern consumerist lifestyle, with homogenized prepackaged foods.
